With 60 minutes just airing, and all of the attention of the cheating scandal I wanted to ask a hypothetical question: If you had the ability to cheat and it was UNDETECTABLE, and no one knew, would you?

Reminds me of Will Farrel's Harry Carey skit about Space: The Final Frontier, and he asked the scientist if he'd rather catch mad cow disease or become the top scientist in his field.

My guess is if 200 people vote every1 will do politically correct thing and sayyyyy no ...I voted yes. In less than a year I would be set and so would my grandkids....

Funny, I voted yes before I read. I wouldn't cheat at cards, nor do I steal, or take credit for others' work, etc. I thought the question was about cheating on your gf or wife. It's weird. I'm honest in every aspect of my existence save this. I am a serial cheater. Every girlfriend I've ever had numerous times. Strangely, I have no qualms about this. No guilt whatsoever and no regrets about the 1 or 2 times it caught up with me. Anybody else find that they cheat only in one area in life? I'm honest with all else.

No I don't think I would cheat even if I didn't get caught. Maybe it would be cool to see everyone's hole cards just to see how they play and stuff, but I don't think I could do it for monies. I would accredit it to the way I was brought up.

The scary part is that probably not everyone is being honest, and it's still this high. I really don't think I would cheat though, I'm one of those suckers with a conscience.

The question came up between me and some friends earlier:

If you could see everyones hole cards on one sunday million... would you do it?

I just don't see how I could possibly say no. But in general, I'm not the biggest fan of cheating on anything. However, based on the above, I have to answer yes.

I think the money aspect has alot to do with this question. Most of us wouldn't cheat in a stupid 10$ donkament but if it was a 5k wcoop main event and it was UNDETECTABLE then most people's answers would def. change.

It's easy to take the moral high ground and say no to a theoretical question like this. If this was actually possible then the % of people who said yes would be much, much higher.

I think that the fact that people are not honest actually skews the numbers towards the "yes I cheated" column. Online players like to pretend they'll do anything for an edge and that they are "cut-throat-profit-machines" or something, lol. Also I think a lot of people vote yes because they think it will "balance things out". When it comes down to it I think very few got the balls to cheat.

Since op has not clearly defined "cheating" it also makes it easier to vote yes. I doubt people would try to stack the deck in a live home game or that they are regularly colluding online on the other hand I think most people would not hesitate to multi-account which obviously is cheating too.

Edit: Misread the OP, he assumed that there was no chance to get caught which skews the numbers to "yes" and makes this a worthless thread, why did I waste my time on this?
