I was talking with a friend of mine to do this propbet and seeing pitabread do his motivated me even more.
Yearly they hold the 'nijmeegse vierdaagse' in my living city. This basically means that you have to walk 4 days straight for 50 kilometers per day. I am thinking about doing this walk barefoot.
I am curious whether or not people would like to bet on something like that and what odds they would lay.

Rules
- have to walk 4 days straight during the nijmeegse vierdaagse totally barefoot
- i will be recorded during the full walk. Thinking about doing this with 2 cameras, 1 facing my head and 1 my feet (for people with a fetish)
- the walk will take place in july, propbet will start somewhere in january as i have to prepare hard and i feel this should be part of the bet.
- me not doing the walk for whatever reason, excluding the registration being full, results in me losing. Family matters, not being healthy, not getting time off of work etc. Will thus result in me losing
- escrow will happen through a third, trusthed, party

About me:
22 year old male, banker and overweight and lazy. Have to really switch gears to be even able to make the 4x50 the normal way.

With one year preparation, this bet is a lock for anyone with a bit of dedication. Walking 50km/day 4 days in a row is something anyone even remotely fit can do with some training. So it comes down to the barefoot part. First thought is that it would destroy your feet, but would it? Humans have walked barefoot for millions of years (still do in many parts of the world) so we are quite well equipped for that task. If you spend one year acclimatizing your feet and toughening the soles of your feet by spending as much time barefoot as possible, I don't see why walking 4 long days without shoes should be such a big problem.

Consider that if you have to walk across stretches of paved road that have been in contact with the sun without shadow all day it will burn your feet like thin-cut bacon. If you're then so unfortunate to have to walk on a road that's paved with these little small 'kiezeltjes' everywhere after such a stretch it will feel like walking on broken glass (believe me, I've been there this holiday when my slippers busted halfway walking to a lake)
