I use to have to cut my buddy checks each month for 1k so he could pay his rent while his Poker acct grew from 40-80k, this went on for a year. I finally showed him on how to withdrawl funds and what a money market account was. I now consider myself a mentor.

at one point in my life I had $456k in my poker account, wasn't legally allowed to have a debit card yet so I didn't open a checking account, and $75 bucks in my dresser.

I still have more in my bank account than online, but it's close. I withdrew some a few months ago because I didn't want a bunch of money sitting in my poker account that I wasn't going to be using (because I am a bankroll nit and didn't feel comfortable moving up). Then I realized my money sitting in my bank account wasn't getting used either, so now I'm just letting my poker account bloat up.

That I agree. Poker account, sports betting account, socks drawer, casino cage, all are better propositions than the scum banks. They shamelessly give you 0.025% interest while charging 22%+ on CC's + all kinds of fees.
