Funny to see this thread after the wife and I just figured out where all of my money is. In order:

1. Stocks
2. Trapped in illiquid assets (home equity, art pieces, etc)
3. Roth 401k
4. Savings account
5. Separate "emergency only" savings account
6. Checking account
7. NJ Homestead Rebate check due
8. Cake poker account
9. $65 worth of redbirds from Harrahs AC
10. A little in Paypal
11. What's in my wallet and sitting in the car for tolls

I've had 3x more in my poker acct. than bank acct. at one point. Don't feel so bad anymore looking at the poll. I could beat the stakes I was playing but the swings gave me nausea and I stopped having fun playing.

Not anymore though. My new rule is that my BR cannot be more than 1/2 of my savings.
