So yesterday my laptop crashed while multi tabling some 18-man sngs and was blinded out in almost all tables when I got it working again.

But they refunded all of them except the ones where I ended in the money

Pokerstars are very good, this was the right thing to do IMO by pokerstars.

They actually do this? Wtf..this has happened tons of times to me, obviously one should be responsible for their own connection/computer issues and have backup plans - I wouldn't even think about asking for a refund. Can't deny that this feels really unfair to me and the thousands of others who have been in this spot, but congrats on the special treatment.

As awesome as this is, I'm guessing they will probably not like things like this being public tbh. It has the possibility of setting precedents, which means people that don't get credited feel slighted, and eventually they can't do things like this any more. Just saying.

and this is like the first time it happened to me in like 4-5 years on the site so i guess they do things like this to keep their players happy
and they are already donating 5+ million during the 100 billion hands promotion so i guess they have more than enough money to do this stuff

Obiously a +EV move for Pokerstars to refund someone who generates tons of income for them, even if they have no obligation to do so and it's your own fault.

you do realise that during the promo the amount of tables running/rake getting paid increases substantially so they are most likely making even more money on these promos rather than giving away 5m.

also keep these things to yourself. its common knowledge amongst regs that you can get refunds but that may change in the future if its known by many people that stars extend these goodwill gestures
