Read wasn't too bad. A little long, would have been better to post it slowly, rather than just roll it all out in the OP, but meh, decent read.

Huh??
OP you can't just go on and on about gambling, strippers, and T pain, then casually mention you are a minister.

Fwiw I actually read the whole thing and was mildly entertained. I don't think any of the partying stuff or expensive dinners are even close to brag worthy except for flying private. Leave that stuff out along with the bat beat stories and the length would be more manageable and interesting. .

That Ace on the turn was awesome, never expecting it. Case Ace on the river was horrible tho.

Would not be much of a problem if they took the same line with writing/posting.

also i admire the fact that you keep your day job. probably allows poker to remain fun. I think too many people try to make a career out of something they like.

for example, someone likes taking pictures and decides to become a pro photographer, then they end up taking pictures of low budget weddings and ugly kids on graduation, taking all the fun out of the hobby.

i wouldn't let the 5h7h hand "haunt" you. how many times have you seen someone 4 bet live (let alone 5 bet) as a bluff? the guy made a good play props to him - the situation is so rare I wouldn't let it bother you. most of the time you are right he has AA.

The problem I have with this hand is that I should not be 5-bet folding KK pre-flop. There are better hands to 5-bet-fold with, like KQo, 56s, Axo, etc. If I'm 5-betting KK pre, then it's because I think there's enough hands in his range that KK beats that will call or jam, in which case I need to be prepared to call the 6-bet. If I think he's only 6-betting with AA, then I'm far better off flatting the 4-bet, and playing a pot in position.

The girls in the picture are from Ottawa as well. The four of us came down as a group.

I am NOT a real minister, I do not work in a church or have a congregation. I already mentioned that I was an engineer. But anyone can be ordained online, after which they can legally perform wedding ceremonies and the like.
