Ok,,tldr in advance. Just to warn ya.
Indian casino I have been playing at for years. Anyone who plays live often knows the type, he is going to lose all his money. He may only have $100 on him, but he can run that up to $500 and he will bully, and bully, and bully for as long as he can get away with it. But eventualy, someone gets him. He's a calling station, and he tries to win every hand. I route for the guy outloud, he is also a very nice, very old man ... but he is like a conduit of chips to me. I just hope he doesn't lose it all to someone else first, and a couple other players at the table also know the drill with this guy. he's great for the game, for an 80 year old.
So, as expected, he short stacks, and I get it in with him early and lose a hand, where I just had second pair, and he actually had it that time, he had top pair, won the hand. Doubled up to $100. So, I watch this guy go on heater/bluff fest like you have never seen before. For an hour, he's in every pot making big moves. Never says a word. Stone cold face the whole time. Soooo easy to trap, but he gets out of a few of them.
So, I bought back up to the $200 max. Ran that up to $250. Stuck, small on the day, saw this guy as my chance to get even, maybe even book a win and I pick up a decent hand. So, I have $250, this guy has run his initial $50 BI to bout $350, and I get AQs and I make a significant raise and another player calls me, and the old guy calls me. Normally any ace, doesn't matter, 8x bb raise, he will call.
Flop comes 2c, 3c, 5h
I bet $32. Both players call.
Turn, Qd
i check, checks around.
River 2d
I check, other guy checks,,old man bets $100. I reraise all in, othe guy folds, old man .....
What do you think he did? what do you think he had? i am like 90% sure it was ace 5.
He tanked and folded. 99% A5.
Very next hand I get AA. i raise to $18 and he calls me. Says the first thing he said all night, "check dark", flop is 6c 6d 9c.
And I said "all in" right away. And he stared at me ... and I was good, right ...Stuck all day, book a small win, and I like the guy so I say, "Don't call." because he clearly doesn't have a 6, right?
As soon as I say that, he calls. "Alright." i say, shaking my head as I turn over my aces. What do you think he had?
He had ....
Spoiler below ...
9,5 offsuit.
i rivered the nut flush. Cleaned him out in 2 hands. He re-bought for $43.
Went and had a smoke, then came back, racked up. $160 win on the day. Left. Hope he went on the heater of a lifetime, cause I really do like that guy.
Oh, also, I know,,fold pre, EAD, all that stuff ... Will do, thanks.
