I was the messiah that started the copy pasting (me and 2 of my gimmicks) and the rest of BBV followed. Very memorable thread

YO

Just wanted to come in for a quick little post and possibly a little random rambling.

First things first...I feel ****ing amazing. This is close to the best I've felt in an overall sense in probably the last 5 years. There's definitely a few big lifestyle changes I've made in the last week or two:

1. Weed was legalized in Canada recently and I've been experimenting with smoking a bit after all my work is done for the day and I'm trying to cool down. For example when I've finished all my poker grinding/study/action selling related stuff, went to the gym, meal prepped etc then I'll go out for a walk and have a few puffs. I think that has been really good for getting a solid sleep and unwinding/detaching my mind from poker/other stressors at the end of the day.

2. Diet: This is obviously huge from the prop bet and 6 days of the week I've essentially eliminated almost all carbs/sugars/processed foods from my diet. Only a small sample size but I do feel noticeable changes already in my physical energy/mental energy. Was at the gym today and looked at myself and saw kinda some foreshadowing of myself maybe 8 months down the road looking healthy and lean.

3. Exercise: Been reaching the gym as much as possible (minimum 3x/week). I've been doing on average 30 minutes of cardio and 4-5 exercises, 3-4 sets and 8-20 reps depending and mild stretching.

4. Just doing positive **** for myself. It's underestimated how valuable this can be. When you spend time/effort/energy doing stuff that you know is beneficial for you in the long run it seems to boost morale/energy/productivity etc.

------------------------------

With a little motivation from performance enhancing substances I guess I'll talk about some random stuff at this point...feel free to bail out, even though you never needed my permission anyways

This post will reference a few ideas from "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a ****".

If your mind is anything like mine you probably notice a pattern of "problems" festering in it constantly. It sucks, but as humans we're constantly faced with different problems of different magnitudes.

Something I've found is that life literally just always finds a way to throw problems at people. Just when you think you have solved all of your problems...then you feel lazy...and then that becomes a problem. If I have too many problems then I feel overwhelmed. If I have too little problems I feel directionless and start to stare down the bottomless pit of ambiguity that life can be.

One day you're worrying about a bad hair day and you're pissed that you can't keep all your hairs in the position you want them. One day you realize you're losing the hair on top of your head and going bald, and you can't even have the hair to have a bad hair day.

One day you're sitting there feeling lonely because you're on a cold streak with girls. When you fix that problem then other problems arise: STDs, drama, cheating, progressing relationships and degressing others. Maybe you've gotten so good with girls that you have had so many that now have an inherent emptiness inside.

One day you're sitting there broke with -300$ in your bank account and rent is due in 2 days and you have no idea how to pay it. One day you've made a heap of money that you don't know how to spend it. Maybe you sacrificed too much time to make the money that your health decreased and the money doesn't mean anything anyways.

The point I'm trying to get at is that problems will ALWAYS be there until the day you die...that is a guarantee. However, it's in our nature to solve problems and that's why we've evolved from literal monkeys in the jungle to having the capacity to engineer concrete jungles, for our new selves...mere monkeys anyways. We view problems as a nuissance but in a weird way they are a blessing. They force us to improve and innovate...and keep us busy in this seemingly senseless world.

I really don't know where I'm going with this but all I wanted to say is that problems are part of life and we need to embrace/solve them and not run from them. When we run from the problems they grow and fester into bigger problems.

Anyways, hopefully that made some type of sense
