This really looks too good to be true.

yah thats a huge point that can really alter my odds in this. without any extra incentives for getting this UGL badge, I may get it 1 in 50 times. the huge money incentive is really why the odds are closer to 6 to 1 then people think. though, it may still be 10 to 1 or 15 to 1, i really have no idea and haven't done much testing on that fact until after i committed to this.

i'm obviously going to try my best to win this thing, and try to play my A-game throughout. if i run bad or even if i run average/good, and it turns out my A-game still isn't good enough then so be it, as long as I try my best.

last couple days i have been setting up HM so i have a HUD and setting up table ninja with a controller. i think if i do have any chance at winning this bet, i need to display really good results off the beginning while i remain as an unknown reg to the other stars players and before people figure out what i am trying to accomplish. once people catch on to me, and figure out my goal next month, i feel like i'll be easily targetted and exploited.

id factor some amt < your normal winrate, with pressure and all. for serious.

if i win the prop bet, im going to go on vacation in the beginning of january.

yeah, definetly can't disagree with that. not sure how the pressure will affect my winrate.

at the beginning of this bet, showing any positive winrate will give me a confidence boost to continue to play hard and make it an interesting sweat. i really just dont want to runbad/play bad at the start and totally lose confidence/give up.

I think you can pull this one off, but it all depends upon you maintaining a positive, focused, determined mental state throughout the month. Day in and day out. If you start feeling you cannot win this bet, then you will be destined to fail.

you really nailed the spot imo. thats my biggest problem. if anyone took time to check any of my sharkscope/OPR/table ratings data you will see my biggest problem in poker is tilting and not maintaining a positive focused state. i always let results affect me, which hopefully wont happen in this bet. im going to try and introduce more tables for this bet and hopefully the more decisions will give me less time to even think about results/tilting. definetly gotta keep going positive even if i have a 1k session and it turns out PTR misses it altogether!
