For a top 100nl reg this bet might be 4-1 or maybe even 3-1, given that a) he could put in more volume than everyone else; b) some of the better players will be mixing in 200nl and higher.

For someone with OP's PTR and apparent experience level this bet just seems insane. Regardless, best of luck to you OP; presumably you had/have some reasons to be confident about your chances.

I played a ton of 100nl yesterday but didn't see him; was he playing 6max or Fr? 50bb or 100bb?

Maybe 6-1 for a top reg would be fair; it's pretty hard to work out. The thing that works to his advantage most is that not many regs go for it specifically, so they often move up when they're winning heavily.

A bunch of the top winning Stars regs have moved up in the last month or two; so the timing's not as bad as it could be.

Whatever works for you OP, but I would recommend some faster pace music. You need to bring out your fighting spirit, get pumped. Don't take no ****. "Ground control to major tom" is all I heard, but that **** would put me too sleep. Great song, just not what I would listen to when playing poker.

You got to get in the kill zone. Start targeting villain and attack them indiscriminately. This is not the time to smoke a joint, and contemplate lifes meaning. You got this.
