Sorry guys the late notice. Unfortunately this bet is going to be postponed until May or July.

I've been diagnosed with a minor form of carpel tunnel syndrome and the doctors advice is to keep wrist action to a minimum until it gets better. I asked if I would be able to work at a computer 10-12 hours a day for 30 days straight and his response was that it would be almost certain I would cause permanent damage and need an operation to correct it. So yeah not worth the risk.

Once again I'm sorry for the late notice, I know a lot of you wanted to see this happen, myself included. This bet will happen, but not until later this year.

I FEEL SOOOOOOO SORRY!! As i already knew that luke isn't able to play, i asked martypartyy to do the bet with me. But unfortunetly it's close to march, and its not enough time to make big changes anymore.
Im not gonna do 5k profits, because a) im gonna lose it 99.9%, b)I just have made a staking deal for march/april
I know this is a sad situation now, and we were all looking forward for this bet, but still i want to thank all the people to put so much effort into this.
Don't worry @ all gamblers, ill be up for this probbet soon, im really looking to do such a bet this year.

make a thread, you'll get plenty of interest. Doubt you'll get much action at 5:1 against, more because of the risk/reward ratio than the actual value of the odds, but if you're willing to adjust to the market you'll get something going.

Hm yeah, when i wrote that i thoguht about it the next day i do think i am asking for too much, not that its not a hard challenge it is, if a player like sicklopedia says hes 99.9% sure he'd fail it and hes shown much more consistency, and is more then likely a better player etc. But, yea i thought about it im probably gonna do the exact same challenge at but probably what people think is a reasonable odds, if not i think i may just do the 8000/4k games in a month.
