Doug's been playing on a few of my tables. He's playing a solid TAG game, but is pretty exploitable to anyone paying attention. He made a couple of moves vs limpers both in position and in the blinds. The problem was, he was doing this too much vs stations that were never folding.....

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked

UTG+2: $55.95
MP1: $19.25
MP2: $8.70
CO: $35.40
BTN: $41.15
Doug: $25.45
BB: $41.00
UTG: $24.25
UTG+1: $26.05

Pre Flop:
4 folds, MP2 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Doug raises to $1.25, 1 fold, MP2 calls $1

Flop: ($2.75) A K 4 (2 players)
Doug bets $2.50, MP2 calls $2.50

Turn: ($7.75) T (2 players)
Doug checks, MP2 checks

River: ($7.75) 6 (2 players)
Doug checks, MP2 checks

Spoiler:
Final Pot: $7.75
MP2 shows 9h Kc (a pair of Kings)
Doug shows 3h 5h (high card Ace)
MP2 wins $7.40
(Rake: $0.35)

Unless villain is a really big station, that looks like a pretty good flop to cbet a limp/caller...

I read about 25NL and what you said, so I gave it a try, 4-tabled cause I was chatting.

Doug should definetily play 6 max:

Yeah, that was the problem. Villain was running at 53/3.4/0.35 (lol !) and was calling any preflop raise once he had limped, so bloating the pot OOP (Doug was SB btw) with a marginal hand vs this villain was -EV

PS It was the preflop action that I'm not keen on - OOP raise vs fish station who's never folding cos he's already limped so HAS to see the flop

As played, I agree postflop is standard

PPS - Damn too much strat

FWIW, I think winning 10k over 30 playing days is a very different challenge than winning 10k over 30 consecutive playing days on the same site. Not just because of fatigue.

gl tho -- and dont stack off 400 BB with A7 UI.

I'm going to open up action if people want it, even tho before i wasnt going to. but I want at least 4:1 odds on my money. This bet has been more taxing on my body and mind than I had previously envisioned, and I feel like if I'm going to be doing this for the next month, I would like a larger amount of cash that I am really willing to buckle down for. Not being able to eat well nor fall asleep at night for a month is torture in itself, and on the chance that I still do make it, I want to have enough money to take the next month or more off.

Xorbie will still act as an escrow(assuming he is ok with this but im pretty sure he wouldnt care), but I am willing to put up another 5k to your 20k on a first come, first serve basis. This offer comes off the table when its filled or by friday.

i feel like there should be some rules in place about putting additional money on this bet. i mean its slightly different if u have 1million against u than if u have 50k against u from the POV of the people betting against you.

what do other ppl think?

i think you are losing it man. I will book all the action you want, I put up 1k against, you put up 5k for.

see what i mean....

you have it all backwards....first want 4:1 odds (which is really 1:4) then offer true 5:1 (when you really meant 1:5, which is WORSE than 1:4).

In the first sentence I think you are meaning to say you want to win 4k for every 1k you have to lose in action booked against you (1:4 odds).

disregard the 5k to 1k stuff, makes no sense (unless you are betting against yourself now).

SLEEP. *most* of us are pulling for you!
