how dumb do you feel that you could of got more action on 500,000 hands any just a winning winrate.

Was it ever EV? I mean, even if you were a complete lock to win, it's only 6x the winnings at NL25. Since your regular game is midstakes with a winrate probably not that much lower (maybe even higher) than stress-addled NL25, it's not as if winning the bet would be that great in pure $ EV. Since you were obviously way less than 100% to win and even if the original prop bet was +EV, it would only be to a small degree, there's no way the prop bet could be +$ EV.

The reason you did was presumably the thrill and admiration you'd get for pulling it off, which were probably substantial. I would think that this factor would increase significantly if you managed to recover from being a big underdog.

I'm not a doctor but I suspect he made the bet because he really thought he could pull it off.
