Lol.

No-one is buying your crap fish. We all come on here and post out 70,000 hand break-even strecthes. Or our 2B/100 over 100,000. Things like that.

No-one gives a *** about 2000 hands.

If we can all show stats from the long run, what makes you so special that you cant?

And I am not 'green' with envy. I don't even play NL. I do, however, respect the opinions of some of the great NL players on here and if they call bs, then that's pretty good by me too.

I've never seen so much desire to be statistically accurate in a "brag" post. I thought this was where someone goes to be cocky, not ask for advice.

This statement is just hilarious. Why would you feel the need to contribute your opinion if you acknowledge that you don't know what you're talking about? If you know you're just going to parrot other people's posts, save your time for the next lynch mob or pack of lemmings you come across.

I said I don't play NL. I didn't say I have NEVER played NL. I've played 1000NL on many occasions. I propped for over a year playing strictly NL and made about 50K from it including a 10K seat for the WPT.

I've made the switch to limit this year.

By all means enlighten us as to the wealth of your experience in NL. Should be fun.

Re: I\'m better than you are

I am running at over 300BB/100 over the last 27 hands.

Of course there is room for improvement in my game, so I expect that to be better.

These 2000-3000 hand sample sizes just smack of the long run, I might not play that many hands in my life.

a talented guy just started poker and is on a sick assed heater.

he thinks he's gosuplayer and he likely will be with study and practice, but his naievite is humerous to everyone and pisses off a lot of people.

it's a good stoned read for sure

oh also our hero is quite a rennisance man who spearfishes, [censored] models, is in pristine physical form etc etc u get the drift.

also hero and another poster or 2 have been ruffling each others feathers about Starcraft, a rts game. most of these posts have fallen into the tl;dr category.

Cliff Notes

OP is an amazing Poker God who wakes up everyday, wins $1000+ playing 20BB/100 poker at NL200, posts his graph here, goes to spear some fish, and makes awesome fish tacos.

People challenge him to play starcraft, lift weights, and show his whole PT database. Nobody believes his 133t skillz at poker.

Multiply by 30+ pages.

I play whopping $100NL. Occasionally I even play two tables at once!

My point wasn't whether your opinion was valid or not. It was more the "I stand by whatever everyone else says" comment.

You said Why would you feel the need to contribute your opinion if you acknowledge that you don't know what you're talking about?

Tell me where I acknowledged this.

If you could wiggle your way out of the OP's back passage you might be able to read things more accurately in future.

Good luck in your $10+1 donkaments.....

Yes, I have lost to 2 outers. And 1 outers.

The thing that Flintoff (et. all) doesn't/don't realize is that I haven't been just posting 1000 or 3000 hands "here and there." I have been posting 1000 or 3000 hands day after day for over 20 days. I have been posting every session. With all the BRAGGING on this Poker BRAGS forum, how do I have time to play? I only play a few hours a day. And posting takes me 2 minutes.

If I am such a great player, how come I don't know about statistics? I don't read poker books. That's why. I learned to play on my own, which at the onset of this thread people said "30/8 hmmmmmm." Well, that's my style. I stack people. Play as best as I can postflop. I find it funny that people read all these poker books and all this theory but still haven't learned to win at a good rate.

Call it a sick heater, I have sustained this longer than you thought possible.

Due to my style of play, I don't think things will change, unless for the better.

Hey spear

I just read past few pages and saw you mentioned Fujithefish.

I think he plays on fulltilt?

If so, I think you two have a similar playing style based on stats alone.

Oh no, I full well know what's possible. Did you know that if you get enough posters in BBV (like, a LOT) eventually one of their posts will make sense? Seriously. It's like that thing with the typewriter and monkeys and whatnot, shakespear too. I wasn't joking earlier. Someone will win all hands he ever plays

Meh, all you haters / jealous people should really stop caring.

People run hot all the time. Following a series of upswings, people think they are invincible all the time.

If spearfish wants to believe that 30-40K hands is the definitive long run of poker, let him believe that. If spearfish wants to believe in ghosts, let him believe that, who cares!

Re: I\'m better than you are

Hi Tien,

I haven't seen his stats but I show him my hands. I think he picks up on my play. He plays on most of the big sites, primarily FTP I think, or wherever has a good promotion.

Just out of curiosity, how many hands do you think I should play to find the definitive long run of poker, etc.? Thanks

He's my real-life close friend who recently made the switch from Limit to NL after playing a million STT. He has done well at tournaments I think, getting 2nd in a big party tournament, qualifying for the WPT 15.3k in Vegas over Winter, and will be at the WSOP after qualifying on FTP. He reads all the books and I used to laugh at him, but he's doing well now. He is the one that kicked my ass at smash, except when I was drunk(i play better when I'm drunk). When I had a huge "high" off of winning a 1000.00 pot on poker, I played him and beat him soundly the game after at smash. I proceeded to get owned the next dozen games.

I still enjoy taking his money if I play on the same table as he does. He likes to play pots with me as he says, "you're the only player who makes me think. the rest are dumb s h ! ts." At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. HE SO POH. LOL

On my way to Vegas, having only driven there once before, we took a bet what the temperature would be outside. I told him to open the window. It felt like 80 something so we placed a wager. I said 85 or below despite his car thermometer saying 99 degrees[thought it was broken].. (I swear, who woulda thought at midnight it would be ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT?)

I lost, picked up the tab for dinner when we arrived in town.

changes for every person, as some people have had 100k hand breakeven stretches or 80k heaters. Getting stacked twice in a row with aces can effect your winrate.

But I think it's about 600-900k hands would be around there.
