5bb/100 at 2/4 nl over 1k hands should be around $400 if I'm doing my math right. When you factor that in, the math adds up pretty closely I think. I doubt the image is photoshopped.
ah true, im not sure why i care.

Re: Official Battle of Champions

Image is 0% photoshopped other than box/cut/paste.

You obviously didn't get the point where I said I didn't expand pokertracker. In fact, I wasn't paying attention I just chose ring game and didn't expand it. I stated outright I was under 5bb/100 so I had nothing to hide.
I had precisely: 4.62 bb/100 at 400nl 1328 hands. Big deepstack hand for over 1500.00 pot would have made a big difference but he flopped a house vs my trips with A kicker. Here's the joe-version

All in on the flop

K K 2 (my AK vs 22)

No help, big pot lost, low BB/100, sucky 400 day

Re: Normal BB/100?

I vote for calling on the BB with j9s. The first entry raise means only a playable hand as the 44 proves. I'm not a great blind defender, but I play this one.

I haven't tried it myself so I can't say this for sure but is it really possible to sit out at Party while you are in a hand (left table, SB posted, cards dealt, sitting out).

Morberg, That happens sometimes. I'm not sure why. Just like how the text in the box at the bottom varies in size sometimes and goes from "BOLD" to "Regular" font. It says it but I'm not actually sitting out.

Anyway, got disced on 3 pots today. Other people pulling their plugs.
I'm going to stop playing those tables. People too poor to call to play. But only 150 hands.

Lost a 55.00 tournament a 9 6 flop i had aq. i bet pot. get raised by AT all in, call. Miracle ten river, out before placing round.

75hands at 2000 nl for 10bb/100 before teacup left to go do something.
73 hands at 600nl for 60bb/100 for 568.20 That's what it took to bust my fish.

Watched Pirates #1 on USA channel so I can watch Pirates #2 today. Went out to eat. Dave Chappelle the lost episodes. Did some reading. Not much poker, relaxing weekend.

Re: Normal BB/100?

wow I can't believe I read all that.

impressive:
- 2p2Reader diggin up the tru identity
- 150lbs x 15 rep dips... def doable (not by me or anyone I know, but I wouldn't doubt it)
- OP not realizing this as a super hot streak (kind of got the impression that he thought he was the new Lebron James of the online poker community)
- Other players paying off OPs nit playing style
- those fish tacos look incredible... vnhs

unimpressive:
- pissing match between more than 2 dbags over a video game??? ghey
- op's silly looking car. (but that's prob just my style as far as tint and mods)
- english major - (why even bother going to college -- talk about a bad investment) - op's math skillz really that bad?

other thoughts/assumptions
- OP seems to have well-off parents and grew up as such.
- from my experience asian people have very good time management skills

thats all that comes to mind

Re: Normal BB/100?

Hovz, I read about discers all the time, especially in the 25/50 NL.

Still doesn't get money back, but whatever. People who choose to play that way ruin the game.

Phil_Ivey_Fan, I agree with most of your stuff; overall a good, honest assessment. Pissing match was stupid. English Major? Some people want to go to Law school. As stated, I chose it to work on my weakness, while having enough time to do things I like to do. A strong vocabulary is power. You present yourself by what you say and how you say it.

Just because someone is an "Econ Major" doesn't mean they will be successful in business or finance for that matter. It's all about what you do on the offtimes.

Anyway, I don't think I'm Lebron of Poker. I am constantly fine tuning my play and it was the original intention of my first post to better myself. I think that is what makes those guys good; the desire to learn.

That said, I do think 5bb or even 10bb is not ideal or "good." Played some hands, made another thousand, (been up about 2 hours) going to buy a new jumprope and watch Pirates II.

Impressive: Your reading of the 29 pages.

Cheers

I just skimmed this thread and wanted to drop in to say what an awesomely extreme tool OP is. The combo of world class narcissism, self-deception, and naivety all in one person is pretty amazing. How lucky we at bbv are to have fate drop him in our laps.

I harbor no ill will and sincerely wish you the best of luck. Carry on.

Honestly.

I only read the last third of this thread, but cmon OP, clearly by not showing us your whole db and only showing small snip-its of selected days....its obvious your hiding your bad runs and we arent giving you any credit until you show us the entire database.

All,

He's showing us PT shots. Its not like its possible to delet a couple big losing hands and thus inflate your BB/100 numbers without really affecting - or needing to inflate - your hands played numbers.

Come on. Give him a break.

Re: Official Battle of Champions

I haven't deleted anything. AND, I'm not hiding anything. I post everyday I play. Sometimes 2 x a day.

Some of my days are 10 bb/100, and two days I had just between 4-5 bb/100 at 400nl. btw, I've been posting everyday and not "just snip-its" OF SELECTED days as you say. But thanks for doubting. I love people who doubt and say I have "got to" delete. ...right...

If I had a choice as to what I prefer: I'd rather take your money than argue with you.

My 7/15-7/16 400nl was a mere 4.something bb/100,
but 7/16 and 7/17 was killer for 200 nl

To be honest, I win enough that I'm glad I don't need to delete anything.
I enjoy GOING BACK and LEARNING from my mistakes, which is mainly what I use pokertracker for - to improve my own game.. Which, I can tell a few ignorant people do NOT.

If I deleted any of my hands it wouldn't give me this opportunity to use PT to its full ability.

Anyway, onward. I watched pirates of the Caribbean, came back, and played for 331 hands.

yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me.

There's a few people I've shared my database with. Campoguy, Gdogtlaw(Greg), Fujithefish(real life friend), and a couple others. Some people who have been polite have seen it. To the Aholes: you can sit and wonder.

The following argument is flawed: "WE DONT BELIEVE YOU. YOU COULD EASILY DELETE YOUR LOSING SESSIONS. SO POST YOUR CAREER STATS. ONLY THEN WILL WE GIVE YOU CREDIT."

Please, allow me.

If I deleted my "bad hands" then I wouldn't have those hand histories in my database, correct? If I don't have those hands in my database, then my summary would just be falsified as well, wouldn't it? Since some of you are so intent on calling me a liar, then probably nothing I do or say will change your mind. I don't care.

Showing you my summary would only cause you to scratch your little head even more.

When you read Shakespeare, or learn science, only the dumbshietz want the cliffs notes or the cheat-sheets. The intelligent and intelligible prefer the real deal. Once you learn this, you'll learn that there is no substitute. Right now, you are getting daily updates. In layman's terms, you're getting the real deal.

I'll continue to post as I progress daily. You know, to find out my ptrack stats all you need to do is add up from 6/20 to 7/17 and there you have it. With some detective work(I know there are some of you out there), I'm sure you can take care of it.

This is just becoming pathetic.

Either show us your full DB or just leave it and revel in how good you are. Repeatedly posting only your winning sessions is just boring.

'The rest of you can just wonder'

Simple question. Why? You seem to be going to extraordinary lengths to prove your brilliance with post after post, yet you could end a lot of the doubters with just 1 more.

Look, how hard is it for you to understand this:

WE WANT TO SEE THE TOTAL RESULTS SINCE YOU STARTED THIS THREAD!

Its really easy to do in PT: Just go to "Preferences" and select the radio button for "games since xx/xx/xxxx".

If you are telling the truth, what reason do you have not to do this?

read above.
It's the Poker Brags forum. I make money everyday I play. I do have losing sessions (an hour is a session sometimes) but the end of the day I'm green. sometimes 10bb green, sometimes 30bb green. People tell me I can't sustain it but It's just getting greater and greater. Between 7/16 and 7/17 I am 28.8 bb/green over a couple thousand (3) hands.

And it looks like you are green, too. Either a) Greenhorn or b) Green with Envy - take your pick. or perhaps c) all of the above.

If you don't like it, don't read it. Others have sent me PMs asking me to continue to post and have been supportive as I started using Pokertracker. This thread obviously interests you enough for you to have over a half a dozen posts in here. You post almost daily. "Pathetic."

Re: Official Battle of Champions

Must be fun to be a statistical anomaly. Theoretically if you get enough poker players there eventually will be one who only gets dealt AA every hand. You do need a lot of players tho... a lot. I wonder how you still have time to play with all the bragging here

(nah, but seriously, if you are such a great player; as in, much better than some of the world champions, how come you don't know about statistics, variance, sample size and all that? It's fun to be winning, I know. But did you ever loose your whole stack to a 2 outer yet? when you have a perfect read on him holding KK while you have AA, and the river showing a pretty king? These things happen, even when you play perfectly.)
