Verifiable data? I haven't tracked how many home games I've been invited to.It's not a ton but it happens a few times a year. One of them was a 10/20 nl game with a 5000 dollar max buy in. It ran once or twice a week and the rule was you could only buy in twice in a night so nobody would get hurt too bad.It was like playing 8 jamie golds. And instead of rake everyone kicked in 50-100 bucks to rent out the top of some club the nights the game ran.I destroyed this game and now only get invited when they can't get enough players which is rare. But the ev from this game (as well as my winnings) were astronimical compared to all the little ev added up together you are worried about.

As for not getting robbed - well what can i say i've never been robbed.or jailed. and I don't think cheated (although I have been cheated online and in casinos) i also never valet in a casino and have never been robbed in one either. Maybe it happens one day. but if i do get robbed in a home game it will be a rounding error compared to what i've made playing them. With that said I don't play in the ass rape raked NYC home games.
