1) Crazy villain, I had cleaned him out several times including one where he called a jam with 10-6o for 100bb. He had worked his way up to about 500bb but by this point I had taken a lot of it from him before this happened...usually I am not jamming pre with AKs for 290bb but when he 4bet me I said WTH!

So, what you're saying is you won a bunch of hands against him and lost two.

Combined loss was about $350 son. Just pick up a couple of shifts at the grocery store. No biggie.

If bad players didn’t win occasionally, they wouldn’t play at all.

try harder - never said both hands were vs the same villain, and I was cleaning out the 1st villain largely at showdowns.

Notice how I didn't mention $ amount? It is inconsequential!

They seem to win an awful lot against me considering I am running 26 buy-ins below EV at NL50 over 100,000+ hands.

Why did you lose so much in 2 hands? Not a good strategy if you wanna be a winner

That works out to about 1.3 cents per hand. So what you need to do is, the next time you play, after each hand ask yourself "Did I get 1.3cents worth of entertainment from that hand?" and record the results.

If, after your session, you recorded a larger number of "Yes, I got 1.3 cents worth of entertainment from that hand," then you can continue playing knowing that you are receiving good value for your entertainment dollar.

However, if you record a larger number of "No, I did not receive 1.3 cents worth of entertainment from that hand," then you will know that it is time to either move up in stakes to where they respect your raises, or perhaps quit poker altogether and take up a hobby that you might get more satisfaction from, like Taxidermy or collecting Sea Glass.

You still have a chance to recover. If it was a combined loss of 402bb, we'd be having a different conversation altogether.

This villain thought the same of you probably. This seems like a classic donk on donk battle. Most fearless player won the battle this time. Nothing you can do about it.
