It took me December to crush NL50. And January to crush NL100. Now I'm at NL200, will I be in NL400 by March?

I was having trouble beating NL25. I finally was able to beat it, and then started with something new: bouncing back and forth between NL25 and NL50. It wasn't until December 2010 that I started beating NL50. All this time I had been adding up so many hands in NL25 with a great winning rate like you can see below. And from there, after I crushed NL50, a great month at NL100 and now I'm playing NL200.

Let's see how this goes. Could be a good run, but I'm feeling really well. 160K hands is not much but it's still a solid sample. I also have 20K hands on NL200 now and I'm up $600. Not too much though I'm playing 5K hands a day so my idea is to play over 100K in February and get to NL400.

I also started coaching players from NL25 up to NL100 and this is also really helping me with my game (and theirs of course )

It sounds like a heater but whatever, enjoy it. Take out some money and buy yourself something nice incase the variance goes the other way.

I don't believe in HEM EV calculation. It's just that, all in ev, I don't find it practical, because it doesn't take into account fold equity, etc. Same if I raise half my stack PF with AA, and then put the rest in and the other guy shows up with a set. But if you want to know it, I have it slightly below my winnings ($7800 total).

only advice would be try to stay in NL 100 - 200 for a few months. before moving up

Sounds good... Now I'll play NL200 and if it goes bad I'll get down again. I do want to play over 100K hands at NL200 before moving up.

but ye doesnt sound like an awfull plan. only problem is if u lose like 4 buy ins it kinda affects ur roll too much imo.

id wait for over 10k for NL 200. and around 20k for NL 400

Stick to 200nl for a while though, don't get ahead of yourself, it can bite you pretty hard.

True, but it's still a factor, anyway just don't make the mistake of getting ahead of yourself. Rushing it can only make the ascent longer, sometimes. Grind on the mind.

I was a winning player at NL25... What made me a winning player from NL50 and up was fixing my red line. Talking to some other players they helped me out fixing it. It's break-even now, but I get to keep all my SD winnings.

Other things that helped me: strict table selection (always 1 fish at my immediate right and never a really solid player at my immediate left, unless the fish at my right is so big that makes up for it), mindset (strict forced breaks, relaxation before playing, never playing mad/sad/or too happy).

About the tables, I play from 6 to 12 when playing 6max and 8 to 15 FR, depending on how I feel that particular day
