I'm pretty new here, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section.

I've been playing poker for over a year now(on and off). Mainly MTTs with some relative success. Been watching streams, and tried to learn the game from decent players.

I've recently set myself the challenge of starting from 2NLz and climb upto 10nlz.

Results: 2nl - 16k hands 6bb/100
5nl - 30k hands -3bb/100
10nl - 12k hands - 2bb/100 (during 2015)

I've really struggled at 5nlz.
Played a session today and lost 6 BIs through a collaboration of KK into AA, Ace high flush into straight flush, top two pair into set, boat over boat....etc.

I've noticed I've been losing alot through 3betting AK out of position or squeezing against fun players and finding myself going 4 ways to the flop..

I really want to improve and I'm willing to put the time in but lack the direction.

Can anyone recommend any useful books or training sites to improve my mental game and general game theory. Mainly focusing on cash games.

i cant recommend any books in this part of the forum and because of recent policy and procedure changes i cant recommend that you eat any thing. so i say good day sir!

Your winrates aren't that bad. remember, profit is profit. There are plenty of good books for crushing microstakes. You should probably ask in the book section though if you want a whole heap of them.

Don't discount podcasts, especially for mindset help. This thread has a number of great suggestions

Move up to 500nlz, they'll respect your raises more op. Worked for me

that's terrible advice if he doesn't have the bankroll/skill for it. I doubt it worked for you longterm if you jumped from 5 to 500.
