Can't you get into *really* big trouble if you hurt someone in a fight, and it can be demonstrated that you had training in some sort of martial arts or boxing?

Don't mean to spit on OP's parade though. Still enjoyed the story.

Spitting during a fight is critical for the following reasons:

1. Intimidation - gain a psychological advantage
2. Confusion - villian cant see when you have blinded him with your saliva
3. Bio Attack - could weaken your opponent with Hep C transfer, infection etc.

when i was 14 i got my ass beat several times and had got multiple skull fractures by an 18 year old but ever since then it just motivates me whenever im boxing

If you're like Bas Rutten, fighting against people who pick on you then you're cool. If you go around picking fights and beating up people because you are a trained fighter you are a grade A douchebag, I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt here.

I had a similar story, some dudes picked on me in grade school and I worked out a ****load, put on about 40 pounds and learned to box. Except instead of beating them up when I saw them again we went out drinking because we were stupid kids at the time and I'd rather drink and laugh than punch people. If that Phil story is true that's hillarious, picks random fight with trained kickboxer, what a dumbass.
