shelldonahue: I don't remember but I'm pretty sure it was between $600 and $1k. It's just crazy that the croupier would do that.

I thought I had a 50-50 chance of finishing part 7 tonight but I just got back from my best friend's farewell party (he's moving abroad) and it's 8am, so no bonus. I'm gonna post some pics though:

Me and my roommates in 2007.

This is the only pic I've got left from my first Pokerisivut party. It's such a shame my old computer got destroyed, I used to have many more. The person here is known as "EvilWal" and he's one of the finest people I've ever met through poker and one of my best poker friends.

Sup bro? Taken from our caravan window in NE Australia in 2007.

Overlooking the beach at Port McQuarie, a beach town on the border between Queensland and New South Wales. My back-then gf's mother lived in Port MQ and we went there for the Easter Weekend.

I'm going to post #7 in the near future. It's funny, when I started doing this I really thought it'd take 4-5 entries total, and now it's been 6 entries and I've covered like 10% of it all. My story really gets sick from late 08/early 09 on, so this is very likely gonna be like 20 parts. Can't stop it halfway so this is going to be one long thread.

F*cking sick read so far, very happy to hear there's lots more to come

From Finland to Australia to Vegas... will def be a great novel. Knowing that you recovered from such low points is awesome. Kinda gives hope to those that know those dark places.

Keep it up Chuck!

wow ive read up to part 6 so far and im absolutely stunned at the incredible events that have taken place in your short life! write an autobiography and call it "The Crushing Dreams of a Young Poker Player" or something like that. your story is so captivating i couldnt stop reading it when i should be grinding SNGs myself right now

As you could see my mahliamay acc plays low sng's and basically hadnt won a thing until tonight. I think reading this thread keeping me entertained was at least half the reason i got to the end lol.

Bah I missed regging to euro saturday majors by 5 minutes so I think I'm gonna skip my session and write part 7 instead

Thanks everyone for the feedback, it's very encougaring and keeps me writing. I didn't really know what to expect from this thread, given the first replies I thought this was gonna be an epic fail. I'm not that comfortable with my English writing skills and I've never been officially taught to write at all so I didn't know if I'd be able to write well enough... so I'm glad people are diggin' it.

Pocketbirdo, congrats on your score! I'm happy I could help.

The link to my blog is in my personal details page, but I only just started it (the English version that is), so there are only a couple of entries that aren't posted itt.

Really awesome thread! OP thank you for being so open in the notorious BBV. I can recognize myself in some parts, like quitting my job and play poker exclusively and going broke frequently. I played MTT's exclusively from the start and yeah, it was a bumpy ride as well! It still is actually.. Starting a new education this year and going on to live by myself (I have multiple jobs next to it as well, so I think I can manage that ). I hope all goes well for you man, I truly enjoy reading your stuff!
