not really a big deal about the $10 i'm up thousands this week because i'm a pro lottery player. but that was a ****y deal of cards.

COACH ME PLZ! I bought 5 numbers for every mega millions drawing (2 a week) for the last 4 months and i've never hit more than 2 numbers (happened once and 2 numbers is $0). I take the lucky numbers (6 exactly) from the fortune cookie I have with my lunch at the chinese place and use a randomizer for the other 4. What is wrong with my strategy?

Or are you specifically a cash game (scratch) player?

If you do statistical analysis of the past numbers for a lot of smaller, less regulated lotteries, you will find that some numbers are chosen a lot more often than others, so that you can push an edge playing the lottery.

Before starting poker I used to push edges in some obscure european lotteries for a living.

1. He had 37% equity against you on the flop
2. This is tiny stakes
3. Plenty of money went in while you were behind
