Re: My home casino - TRIP REPORT

I have two questions.
1-What is the legality of gambling in CA in general?
2- (to the guy starting his own casino), how do you keep it safe and away from police? they only need one person to play there and confirm you running ilegal casino.

Cheers,

Re: My home casino - Here\'s what you NEED tworooks.

First you're going to need a celebrity endorser. An undisputed worldwide poker champion. Maybe from 1998. One who perhaps could act as a prop when not making money elsewhere. I suggest Bill Fillmaff

Then you're going to need awesome security. So awesome that the cops could raid the place and security could just flip out and like kill them with nunchucks and make out with some sweet ladies. Go with Ninjas

Then your casino will be bragable.

I want my 10 minutes back!

This never got off the ground, Tworooks got banned months ago, and there were less than half a dozen entertaining posts in this thread!

Add one more to the number of views. This is the first post I saw on this site. I hope the others are just as entertaining.

Re: My home casino

Suggestion: Rake for limit games, do a typic $5 or $6 dollar time collection every 28 minutes for the NL games.

Have someone who has the cash act as the house for the fisrt few sessions for the gambling games, you dont need to spend all that overhead to have a guy walk in first night a make a killing on the BJ tables. So build your own wad before you assume the house, even if it means just having Poker for the first month.

Also only employ people willing to work for tips. They are all out there, and you can even take 15% from your good dealers.

Wow sounds like he'll be busy, it's a well known fact that pimpin ain't easy, nor, I assume, is "hitting."

At this point, the first human communication that extraterrestrials find from Earth will be this thread.

I very sincerly hope that in 1000 years, if several world wars and numerous bombs causeing numerous electronic information destroying electromagnetic pulses occur, future historians will revel in the fact that priceless pieces of history, namely Leeroy Jenkins videos and a transcript of this thread.

Re: My home casino

If the idea of having the game in the house doesnt go over too well, consider having a small shed put on your property or renting a tent from a party supply store.

Around here there is supposed to be this game that runs regularly inside a moving RV. They use the rake to pay for the gas and the driver. The cool thing is they can pick up new players, drop players off, and are always on the move, which makes it harder to bust.

The ultimate home game, if you had the money, would be on a cabin cruiser or yacht in international waters. I dont think busting poker games at sea is too high on the Coast Guard's list of priorities.

If it does get busted, you could just throw all the gambling equipment overboard.

Coast Guard Officer #1: "That's a really nice vessel we are approaching."

Coast Guard Officer #2: "Wait, WTF are they doing?"

Coast Guard Officer #1: "I think four guys just threw a sweet poker table overboard"

Coast Guard Officer #2: "Shall we fine them for litering?"

Coast Guard Officer #1: "Nah, let's wait until they pass on, so we can fish it out for our weekly home game."
