Here's a $20 degen tale. Been up and down a little all day. Started playing the big boys and losing quick now. Went from 1200 to 500 left just feeding the beast.
But then boom shalalaka ship it yo! I tipped the person too so more good karma ahead!

This thread is about thoughts too...my thoughts on high limit slots....not worth it...most of the wins for $5 slots are around $500-$1500...very rare to hit the big ones, not worth what you put in...also, you can be very unlucky and never hit ****, meanwhile some other guy walks in with $100 and hit the freakin top jackpot..... i saw it happen, guy came down from poker room, he play 5-5 PLO usually, but spent like 200 on a $25 slot, hits for 25k! im down there in for $800, hit for $1200, not really that big of money. i would buy a nice sports car if i hit for 25k i think.

So I figure I'll make my first post here, one that I'm proud of...

$0.10/0.20 NL at Cafe. The table is full and there is a 1-person waiting list. The policy is that you can buy in for $20 and rebuy anything upto $100 but you gotta pay a $1 "sitting fee" for each buy in of $20.

One guy was about to leave and he was also the biggest miser in town. He was actually not a hobo nor a welfare bum. He had $41.70 in front of him. I offered him $4 for his seat. So $45.70. I hand him $46 and he dupes me out of my $0.30 change.

Anyways just to keep the miserable owners off my back I keep buying food and pastries. End up spending like $94 including the rake and the tips.

The flip side? Cashed out almost $1,000. That's almost 5000 BB. I think I hold the record. That's a good session even for $2/5 NL.

It feels good because I could do nothing wrong.

Q6hh vs Q9 on a Q9x flop, no problem. The Gods give me running hearts.

AT vs KK vs QQ, give me the ATT flop and the two monkeys will still not have a fold button if their life depended on it.

It was the most perfect session ever with respect to the blinds. The young pro-wannabe who has been my nemesis gets QT on a QTx board 3-way against KK and QQ. The side pot goes to KK, the main pot goes to the LAGggiest pot head in town. Who in turn paid me off every time.

It's a brag. It's 10 cents 20 cents. But it's still $900 something in profits. Kinda like trying to bang a fat chick and getting lucky with her insecure hot friend.
