Anyone know of alternatives to those old Dell 20" monitors that align vertircally, as there rip off prices on amazon.co.uk and ebay.co.uk atm?

Need something to go side by of the dell 30" ideally vertically so my horizontal "span" isn't so vast.

cheers

If you go with another brand of monitor (especially if it's LED light) the colors and contrast may be noticeably different. Also (less important) the dot pitch may be noticeably different.

When u play 24 tables (tiled) on 30' and 20' Dells, how do u set it up so that the tables on both monitors are same size?

if the resolutions are the same dots per inch then they are the same size. The horizontal (flipped to vertical) of the 20 inch matches the vertical of the 30 inch so the dots per inch is the same it's just wider. its 1600 pixels tall for both in with the same height.

its the std 30' and 20' Dells, std stuff

all I am asking is, how do I 24 table tile on both monitors? 16 on one and 8 on the other or 20 and 4? *I tried both and table sizes are different.

Try "PlaceMint". It's a pain in the ass to set it up for 24 tables, but you only have to do it once.

Hi,

I'm from the UK and have what I would describe as limited, to no, computer knowledge. I am a sng and mtt grinder and atm just have a laptop hooked up by hdmi cable to tv and play off the 2 screens.

I am looking at getting a desktop computer and 3 (22"ish) monitors to play off.

1) how would I do this (im assuming you cant just get a lead that links all 3 monitors to the desktop unit?!)
2) how much will it cost
3) where do i buy the necessary equipment

just talk to your local pc shop and tell them what your after (the ones with computer geeks surrounded by odds and ends, not pc world) or look on overclockers website. you will probably need to email them to confirm 3monitors will work with it (you might need 2x gfx cards).
