Yes Sammy, on this peek of the Poker boom there are tons of people playing those $500+ buyin tourneys. It's just not worth it.

I really liked the first season of Westworld, but gave up on Season 2 after only a couple of episodes. Did it get better?

Sammy has played enough poker to know that high buy-in tourneys with very few players, preferably under 100 or even 50, gives you a much better chance of making good money. The players in those tourneys are not better than the players in the huge field low buy-in tourneys, they just have more money or are bigger degens. Playing a huge field low/mid buy-in tourney for +10 hours, finishing in the money, and only win 1,5 your buy-in, is a waste of time. Playing a high buy-in tourney with only a few players, gives you a much better chance of finishing in the money, and even a min-cash will be worth your time.
