It's not what you did, it's why you did it. You provided zero context as to why you shoved the turn, what kind of hands you put the villain on and what you expected to happen. The vast majority of the time the villain calls, he will have something stronger than a draw and you lose.
I will grant that you played it better than your villain, but that really isn't saying much, because you played it badly from the flop forward - and frankly, without reads preflop was a fold too.
Still, if you want to stay in the penny games, I suppose it's OK. However, if you play that way when $10's, or $100's are in play, I hope you have a good job that pays well.
