Talking Luckiest Run of Cards

I very, very seldom get to play live poker or poker in general, it has been years.

I was playing like a complete fish last night (1-3 NLH, $300 Buy In) but I got the best run of cards in my life.

I was about to lose all my money but got extremely lucky on a major suck out All-In preflop bet with my last $50 (Had AQ and I got called by KK, I got an A on the river to start the run of incredible cards).

I later went all-in with QQ and got QQ on the board for Quads; doubled my money again.

I then got the Nut Straight (A high) on the river.

I got pocket AA vs KK TWICE (won both, doubled up each time).

All this happened within a couple hours at the table.

What is the best run of cards you can remember?

This looks like a great forum, I wished I had found it years ago. Like a noob I initially posted this thread in the wrong forum.

I look forward to some great stories.

Thanks

Like seriously. Just because someone is a new account doesn't mean they are a gimmick. It's ok to give them a hard time but don't ask for bans on the first post. 2p2 is being pretty lean and new users are the only thing that will keep it going

Re: Luckiest Run of Cards

nice run op! one night I got it all in with J10 on a 89A5 board on the turn. The other player held 67 and smiled triumphantly at me when I called his allin. The queen fell and I frowned. then I slowly turned them over and acted surprised, oh hey I got a straight! lol

Did spike an A on the river when I held AA on a 23K board, when the other two held 22 and 33, last time I was in Vegas.

I apologise grinding, I thought you were a gimmick of a terrible poster but now I don't think that is the case.

You won't feel so welcomed in a day or two when you realise just how frequently Morph pumps these out.

Re: Luckiest Run of Cards

I think my luckiest night, although not biggest win, i won $1560 from a 1/1 table starting with $80. Every pot i was just one kicker better or had KK against QQ, etc. It was great. I havent played in 3 months now, but would like to try poker again soon.

Sadly, this is what brings on the degen. One or two miracles.

True story. I promise. I went to a casino with idk 50 bucks in my pocket. Sat down at a 2/4 limit game. KJ spades. Flop AQ spades with idk a 4 who cares. 10 spades turn. Couldnt look at high hand board lol. 2700 dollars. Cashed out. Went home. Hid money. Went to another Casino. Won another 900 at NL. Easy game lol

Thanks. I made that post too quickly after signing up for this board.

After reading through some threads I see the texture/style of this forum and my initial post does seem quite fish-like/noobish.

I did get that lucky run of cards but I would consider my play that night as a combination of fish/LAG play (hence why I had almost lost all my buy-in). I caught those lucky cards and walked away with cash.

---

Appreciate all the other replies / stories. Thanks
