Just took 1st in a 36 person 10$ MTT for $150... really excited to move to $40 level because I honestly think my ROI will increase there. I am not used to playing at the lower stakes and am only doing so for this BRM experiment. People play like absolute **** at the lower stakes and it is harder to play against, especially if your running bad.

Yaaaaaaaaaaa man, I hear ya. I mean **** who wants to play fish? Lets just play good players instead, cuz if we do then our ROI HASSSS to go up right?

cds - its not uncommon for a good player to have a higher ROI at the 100$ HUSNG level than the $50.

da_fume... I actually do know quite a bit. I've made hundreds of thousands over all in my career and have played stakes as high as 80/160 limit and 25/50 NL which I played consistently for a couple years (3 years ago before busto). As stated in this thread a bunch of times, my skill is there, but my BRM has never been... thus variance = tilt = busto.

Can't wait to shove this thread up your ass as the greatest brag ever 6 months from now when I am up 20-30k.

Johnny - I amended the rules as posted above that I can play MTT's that are no more than 1% of my roll. I have had good success with MTTs and find them enjoyable, and at no more than 1% risk a pop I like the risk / reward. Is 1% too high?

Alright .. today was a good day. Account is at its peak (nearly). Sharkscope graph also doesn't show MTT results for AP, and I took 1st for $200 today in a micro MTT (posted above). My roll is now ready for $30HU SnGs and is almost ready for the $40s. I will be starting these tomorrow.

Something about this new BRM thing is really making me focus on my game. I am starting to plug some leaks I have had for years that never considered as leaks before... exciting.

After 5 days (playing will be limited to evenings and weekends now).... though I did order a new laptop yesterday so I should be able to play while at school sometimes too.
