Basically this is my brag, I admittedly have degend money away at poker, not even playing bad because i dont know how to play, but playing bad because its fun to play bad. Yes loose, raising often, bluffing often, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt but it is fun. I feel kind of dumb though for becoming this type of degen player and also playing casino games too, because with work and solid poker, boy i would have had it really good past several years. I spent more time studying for career obv 2008-2009 when poker was good, i was in school, but it really paid off without the swings of poker.
Anyhow, after some recent losses of around $500 on the online felt and dumping $1000 in the casino, i wanted to post my real life work income graph to cheer myself up. This is from the social security website, also stocks are doing great and SS is around $3000 per month if i keep earning similar income. Now if i can save about 50k, get some coaching, maybe i become top player also and retire young!

Why bother playing poker when you make some real money working a real job

Now im sure most grinders are saying, yes but do you have to grind in workplace like we do multi-tables? Yes, i sure do. I work 2 places, 1 full time 40 hours, another 10-15 hours. Its not easy and took alot of school. Of course taxes take a chunk too

In New york and New Jersey taxes so high Horus, I even owe taxes on my slot wins I heard. my host said can all be deducted as overall didnt win, but still property taxes where I live hit you for 12K annually for a decent 3bd/2bath home.

It's better for you to stick to your jobs if you ask me. What do you mean "if i can save about 50k" you should've had bigger savings with your income.

Post your 6 figure losses graph from poker OP. We all know its true. I have an unconfirmed rumour from a Flat Earth theorist that your down nearly a million in poker.

Naw man, this is my stars stats from before they got shut down...
1,168 games
-$0.01 average gain
$12.54 average stakes
2.8% ROI

-$13.58 Total

Winning stats....241 games
-$0.77 average profit
$7.56 average stake
10.8% ROI

-$186 Total

But this is sharkscope, i lost more in cash games, but really not that much. Casino games were the worst, im probably down 50k, but ive made my first million working though so thats good profit after taxs right?

I actually have a positive ROI and am up in live cash games for sure, I just used to have a real love of the casino games. That faded some with time and repeated losses though, thank god, I think im finally free of that addiction. I still lost 12k so far this year, but not as bad as some years, and im on track to make 165k this year from work, so its all good!
