I’ve been playing in a 5-10 live game for the last six months and doing fairly well.

There are some spots where I’m making some errors - either giving too much away or not maximizing value.

I want to explain a recent hand and see what others would have done without giving the ending away (I’ll post my action later)

I’m on a stack of $3200. Under the gun plus two is a new player, seems solid. He Has $1500. He opens for $35. It comes around to me in the small blind with QQ. I make it $130. Villain calls. We’re heads up.

Flop comes 974 with two clubs. I check to induce a bet with a check raise in mind. Villain bets $225.

Question 1 — what range of hands do you put him on here?

Question 2 - What’s your action at this point?

I’ll fill in details of what happened after I get some replies. And Thank you!!!

We're not supposed to give advice while the hand is live. Ask again later.

We need to wait for Horus to brief us on the tax implications, it would be ludicrous to give any advice before

Post in a strategy forum if you want serious advice, not BBV.
