Watched fireworks for Murica play out above the statue of Augustus on the overhead walkway from Caesars to the Cromwell, with FWWM, AlwaysFolding and AlwaysLadyFriend. The pyrotechnics were solid but the gathered crowd was way too big.

AlwaysLadyFriend was fed up with being rudely jostled in the massive Las Vegas Cattle Car--and I don't blame her a bit--so Team Always wisely retired, and Fire and I hoofed it to Ellis Island where we drank. them. all. None were left undrunk.
