My favorite personal story is one I havent wrote out yet for the book, so heres the short version

I went to an MMA event (Xtreme Cage Warz) simply to watch. I knew the guy promoting it and was sitting in my seat talking to him. The main even heavyweight participant came up to the promoter and said his opponent backed out due to some viral infection or something (I think scared). Anyways, I look at this guy and say "I'll fight you". He had come 900 miles for the fight so I saw no reason to go home with nothing. So we look at the promoter and he says hes fine with it if the opponent is. He agrees and I end up in the main event. Had to send someone to wal mart for a cup and a mouthguard and I borrowed some Muay Thai shorts which I proceeded to wear backwards. Anyways, got in the cage with no notice with some 22 year old monster and there was no fairy tale,...I got destroyed.
