In the olden days we didn't have forums, we had pen-pals. We wrote real letters to people we'ved never met in person, that was the equivalent of what we are doing on the internet today. If we liked the person, we would give them our telephone number and we would call each other (for like $2-3/min) if it were overseas. Still, as I think back, that was way cooler than what we are doing now. I want it to be that way again.

But you are only 18.

Can it really be called a pro-tip if you have to time-travel to take advantage of it?

Also - that only helped out people who wanted to drunk-call people in the middle of the night. Luckily these days we can drunk post at no charge instead.

I made many calls to pen pals after 11 when I wasn't drunk, but they were pen pals I'd met in person, so I'm not sure if that technically counts as a pen pal
