funny story driving back up from atlantic city ...decide to stop at rest area by stamford connecticut...

guy comes up telling me how he left his wallet at home and doesnt have enough gas to get back to NY where he works forsome play company...

my boy goes dude im not broke and shows all the gold on his wrists..so i decide wtf and give him $10 to get some gas.....

he jumps into his pontiac and drives by the pump into the highway....

never giving $ to any beggers again...

I'm on your side OP... if you can find homeless people without drug/alcohol problems (they do exist) you've got a shot....

But doesn't this whole thing remind you of bumfights??? Aren't those illegal now? Would that make it illegal for bums to play each other? Hmmmm....

okay im prob 20 pages late on this but i read the first paragraph and had to stop there....

this guy was estatic because now he could go afford another crack rock....
thats what they do, they will ask people for a small amount, because they know people wont give them 20$ so they are like it costs 8$ to do this etc and so basically you giving them a dollar helps them out, its better than like can i get ur 3nickels...

I make a point not to give out change to people who ask for it on the streets... and where I live this happens many times a day, all of them are crackheads and they work the streets like this for a living its actually pretty sick and pathetic
