Actually its scientifically proven that having sex will help with migranes/headaches and many other sources of pain(cause the body releases endorfins and stuff while getting laid etc etc)

well.. I had pocket aces only 5 times last night. Amazingly they didn't get cracked. First time was only a few minutes after I sat down -- doubled my stack and won a $400 high hand after I had one caller to my $15 preflop raise -- a guy with K, 6 (suited, of course). I ended up with aces full of kings, he ended up with kings full of sixes. No callers twice -- picked up a smallish pot with them once (my caller had called with 9, 2 suited and hit nothing -- he did pay for the turn just in case he hit something), and then on the last hand of the night I looked down at 2 black aces and 3 bet to $50 -- had one caller. He folded on my bet on the flop (Kh, Jh, 9 d), whew. I was a very lucky girl.

naneee naneee booo booo cranky old you.

which reminds me -- they took out a cranky old guy last night in handcuffs, after he got into the dealer's face and wouldn't leave when asked... first time I've seen someone handcuffed at a table (they usually just surround them and quietly walk them out).

I figured out who you are OP. Scott limped with the aces and you shoved with AJ.

hahahah.. that was a strategic limp. The topic about this thread was about those limpers who had zero strategy other than with EVERY monster pre-flop holding they employ the same pattern:

limp pre-flop (If it's $2 preflop -- so be it)
flat call (if anyone else bets) flop
flat call turn (if anyone else bets)
check river (if no one bets) or check raise or 3 bet to exactly double the bet (depending upon position).

hand example:

villain in MP with KK
me in BB with KQ

limps around to me preflop at $2. I make it $6.
a few callers, including villain
Flop K Q 7 rainbow

I bet 3/4 pot -- villain calls
turn Q I bet 3/4 pot -- villain calls
river 3 -- I bet 1/3 pot -- villain raises to double my bet.

Do you assume he's there with KK for a better boat? I wouldn't have.. until I found out the hard way and then labelled him as a chronic limper... I knew what to do in the future if he raised me.

~~~~~
These chronic limpers are distinguished from the itty nits: the guy who raises to exactly and ONLY $5 with any premium holding only if no one has bet before him (if so, he flat calls only if he feels the pot is "not too large" -- if it's "too large" and he doesn't have AA he folds). He then complains continuously about how he never makes any money with his premium hands... somehow he hasn't noticed the flurry of folds when he bets $5... lol
~~~~~~

However my favorite player (there is balance, lol) was the guy who raised any hand containing a jack to $25 to $35 preflop (on a $1/2 table). Once I saw what he was doing, it was great fun.. especially when I flopped a set of aces, then turned quads while he was betting into me with his jack high hand. All I could wonder was if someone had once told him that jacks were wild?
