Man do I know the feeling, the other night I was having one of those sessions where I just kept walking into buzz saw after buzz saw.
I kept moving up in stakes to try to win back my losses. Eventually I was at a table with a pretty big buy-in and wound up in the SB v only the BB, limped my medium pocket pair, and then the BB raises 4x . . . I couldn't take it anymore, I shoved all-in, the BB snap called with pocket Ks, and then BAM I hit my set on the flop, it held up, and I finished the night in the black
Not too sure if I was tilting/steamed and felt I was being attacked, but I really appreciate the helpful suggestions on page 2. Although i surfed 2+2 i never stumbled into bbv and now i see how big of a troll fest it is. I was too lazy to use periods or commas in my rants so I'll make sure the next time i vent that i use proper grammar lol.
Watr-that was a great post and seriously made me think of ways to improve my game and the proper way to start online poker.
srslysirius-you're right
kubikas-i started reading it again after your suggestion and I like the part where it identity's how people react to bad beats and tilt while great players become indifferent to variance.
goose bumps- lmfaoooooooo i kind of threw up in my throat when i saw that pic
I'm kind of disappointed the thread wasn't closed but since its still open i thought I'd share my thoughts a few days after (not that anybody cares) lol but I'm being honest when I say I'm grateful for the advice given on page 2.
