pretty impressive setup and the level of deciept this guy managed to maintain over so many hours of one on one chat is astonishing.

this is why i will never Xfer large sums for whatever reason when not vouched for by someone i have trusted for years

go get im.....

OP vouched for the scammer to his mid/high stakes friend and he ended up getting scammed for more than 10k

Incredibly "good" work by the scammer.

You could have avoided all of this if you had insisted on a Skype video call with Corwin. You'd soon have realised that it wasn't the real Corwin.

Get the scammer to repay you and your friend +20% or you send all the evidence to the cops in your country and his.

Get your money back first and foremost - the cops won't get your money back for you.

Tell me how I read the entire post and didn't even realize that the scam artist was also the person owning him until I read the cliffs notes!

It is 6am in NY, but damn that's such an insaneee story.

I've only transferred money to someone that I didn't "know" in the poker community and it was jhub3000! Haha and I still felt kind of weird doing it, even tho it was only $1100 and and I was like 100% sure it was him I was transferring it to.

I hope Karma hits the scammer hard and hopefully someone on this thread will benefit from reading all this!
