To be fair, Fly, what say you about the posters 'asking for it'?
Nothing wrong with some insults or whatever, but really, if you didn't know how to play JJ on a T64 board where pot=stack behind, would not the correct move to ask the appropriate level NL strat forum?

Isn't that kind of the whole reason 2p2 has a forum, so people who don't know what to do there eventually turn into people who do know what to do there? There's nothing mock-worthy about asking even really dumb questions in an attempt to get better and throwing it out there that the guy was(hopefully, maybe still is) bad at low stakes NL is really classless dickwagging.

i was never really very good at limit to begin with and i have no idea how to play limit hu but i figure that btn should be looking to put money in ahead instead of when he's behind

Nice one OP

Put the micro NL Donks in their place. Ha LHE boring? NL is the boring 2 street game

Agree with Fly. Gild seemed to be a little too concerned that micro donks didn't like his hand, 99% of BBV are people who play micro stakes if you started berating all of them for microstakes than we would have a forum full of good players berating mediocre players and mediocre players berating bad players and bad players berating terrible players.

My guess is that this hand would be even more funny if HIV was the BTN.

thats the problem with u guys. limit is no mystery. it doesnt take any knowledge or experience. just some poker sense, which yall either dont have or immediately ignore when u see the words limit.

anyway, its funny bc the clown put no money in ahead and 3bb in drawing dead.

Tryptamean--

I think the hand is actually funnier this way than it would have been if he'd had KK, but maybe that's just my own peculiar aesthetic. (Because with KK it gets easier for one to imagine a reason, however ridiculous, to play it that way.)

FlyWF--

I think that if you spend time in BBV ridiculing funny hands, you should be prepared to take some heat. That said, you're more than welcome to look through the archives for ridiculously bad stuff I've posted. (On the other hand, I started posting here on the Stud forum in 2003, so it might be a little harder to detect the cluelessness.)

All my best,

Also, it is funny how people who harass people for what they post suddenly get all defensive when they are harassed back for what they post.

If you see this 100x a week then put me in your game, because I have played 100s of thousands of hands of hu limit and I don't remember ever seeing this line before.

You're missing the point. You're actually missing several points:

Taking heat is fine, even Gildwulf's scarily insecure "look through posting history" tactic is just being mean, but taking heat for asking a stupid question about poker? That's just ******ed, given that these forums are ostensibly for asking stupid questions about poker.

I'm not going to look through your posting history to find something stupid you said because that's a ****ty move to pull and I'm better than that. While it's the lesser of Gildwulf's sins the blatant ad hominem **** reeks of desperation.

I meant you're encouraging people to post hands that are a "BRAG" because villain played poorly. Imagine how many 19 years are playing $3 SNGs right. Imagine how many of their opponents are missing bets on the river, slowplaying vulnerable hands, folding to bluffs, etc. etc.

Burcak- There is a big difference between "this hand isn't that funny" and "you suck for posting this not very funny hand".
