Just how in the hell fish always hit hands when I see them with a huge stack on the table? It's always like that when I play against them. It's just disgusting. But when I have a set, the board doesn't pair and villain has a flush, hate that ****.

Your 3bet is 50 cents

Why would you care? Just go all in every hand preflop and watch movies.

It's because they're on a heater - I see this crap all the time in tournaments - the WORST players have the biggest stacks in the early and middle stages of tourneys because they never fold and are running hot - then when/if their luck runs out their stack goes POOF!

One time in a tourney I got to heads up with a super calling station and he had a 10 - 1 chip lead on me and I still managed to bust his a$$ and win the tourney.

I know they're on a heater but how long the heater is gonna last? I have a hand when a fish wins over 400bb pot in a splash pot with A7o against two people. It's just crazy to see.

Sometimes it's just their day and they're gonna win no matter how well you play. Most of the time though if they stay long enough their luck will run out and they end up getting stacked by someone.

OP, would you fold a set there if someone donked 1/4 and <1/3 pot bets while you had position?

No, I wouldn't fold. Why are you asking that? I know that the villain didn't play bad. It's just they very often make hands like that and I see them with huge stacks on the tables.

does it make him a good player because he played a set correctly lmao? This guy has over 35 vpip and is calling 3 bets with hands like AJo, 74s etc. I have him tagged as a fish but I will stop calling him a fish because he played correctly with a pure runout, okay. The thread is called 'how do fish always make it?' I didn't even say **** about his play.

I know it's nice when you run good against fish and then you can say how easy it is to print money against them but not everyone can run good against terrible players.
