P.S. You probably should have included a couple thread savers...
Skip the genuine advice part, nobody cares about that. Else I totally agree.

I've had pretty good success in the cash game arena...but when i get the compulsive urge to win more and play too many hands, then that is when I turn into a donator. When in reality, I should be happy about my score and continue to grind MTT's, which is my strength. I've played a lot of $50NL and $100NL and am a winner in those games, but playing $600NL with only 4 buy ins is never a great idea. I can also admit that i'm not at that level.

I think mtts players, on the whole, are better poker players than cash game players. Also cash game players suck at tourneys, but tourney players can win at cash...

OP is clearly new to poker, and I really doubt he is winning over any significant sample, at any game.. Clearly just another Ryan Reiss. 2 tournament wins, and you're the best in the world lol. One day people will learn that winning a poker tournament has no effect on your skills..

Got 3rd in the nightly $35k on bovada for $4,200. Snap regged a 2/4 table and played one hand and lost $4. I instantly rememered how I felt when I wrote the OP and decided to cash out a chunk for good fortune.

As for the "new to poker" comment....you obviously haven't done your research, just look up my 2+2 name on pocket fives.

I think it might be +EV to increase your alcohol intake. Also you're right, pitgames are for losers, slots are where the real money's at

-edit: also, upon further consideration, I dont think you're taking big enough of shots. Instead of 100nl try 1000nl with your paycheque on the table. You'll play better when there's more on the line. I also suggest using your credit card to insta rebuy in if you blow your roll (swings can be bad when everyone's solid).
