Played PLO with a guy who won almost every pot he entered, with some absurd calls and all-ins. He was never the aggressor.

He was going all in pre, with garbage and beating aces multiple times, went all in on the flop with only a gut shot after a raise and a re-raise, and won a threeway pot. Went all in on the flop on a suited, paired board with only an open-ended straight draw and won the pot, and a handful of other similar pots, you get the point.

He wasn't some aggressive player, he was pretty tight, passive, but when he went for it, pre or post flop, he was always in terrible shape even for PLO standards, and ended up winning almost every time. Almost like he knew what the run out is going to be.


Can someone please call me crazy and relive my paranoia, so I can get back to playing on this site, and specifically against this guy.

Have you ever played PLO before

I'm a beginner but I've heard the stories. Which I assume are mostly for all the 65%-35%, you can lose in row. This was much different.

I think when you lost 95% rivers when ahead site is signalling something to you. It's like Nigerian prince -- you are simply tested for stupidity by stupidity, and when you hold on, you are ready to donate.
