At a 5/5 plo game a guy lost 12k bb in 2 hours...i was wondering if anyone had ever heard of anyone losing that much or more in that period of time.

It's PLO. Obviously you can lose 12k in a single 2hr session. I've seen it happen on 2/5 games, so it's easily done on a 5/5 game as well. A buddy of mine lost 15k in a single pot. He had AdAhJdTh. They got it all in on the flop of AcKdQs. Went runner runner clubs. And he lost to a flush. Kinda sick.

Maybe if there were a rule where you could buy in for the biggest stack and he just kept potting and repotting it with random hands I could see this happening

In a 5/5plo during BCPC Bryan Devonshire was the big winner this game and there was an Asian fish that was prob $20k in the whole by the end. This was some years ago and the same guy has played and lost almost every session I have seen him play in PLO.

Can't play 60 hands of live PLO an hour. If hero bought in for 200bb each time. He would still need to lose 30 hands/hour. Impossible................
