The only questionable part for me is calling the flop raise but if foxyplayer was agressive previously that's fine. He's not going to fold the OESD on the turn and he raised at the end when he had the best hand.
1. Villain is known to get aggressive with his draws and strong made hands, but passive with his marginal, showdownable hands.
2. Villain is willing to 3-bet semibluff the turn with a strong draw/weaker 8.
3. Villain will never/rarely 3-bet bluff the river. ie. We aren't committed to showing down.
Waiting for a safe turn is a reasonable play depending on what else Moneymaker plays like this/history of villain showing down to turn raises. Anyone commenting that flop is an automatic reraise without context doesn't know what's going on.
More egregious that no one has pointed out that villain's non-river 3-bet.
How can a mistake be made when all they are doing is flinging poo. I would think that the only mistake would be a stoppage of flinging the poo. He did not, so everything is fine.
