The system is such that there can be a maximum of 21mill BC mined. The interesting thing is that new BC are created by including new transactions of already existing BC into the blockchain, as a reward to the "miner" (who also gets a transaction fee like in usual banking). In that way, the miner is really more like the banker. I read when all BC are mined they might simply raise the transaction fee to keep people mining; otherwise you simply couldn't trade BC. Almost 17mill are mined already, so we should find out rather soon.

What I don't like about it is the ever growing power consumption of this system. Including a transaction block into the blockchain requires solving a certain kind of puzzles that get progressively harder. Other than that it's a cool concept.

I read that the mysterious unknown BC inventor has 1mill BC on known associated addresses lol.

Winnings look a little shy about going into February, but I'm sure they'll buck up soon.

I highly doubt that all 21mm coin will be mined. There are already superior crypto's out there that scale much better than BTC which naturally deal with the increased computing requirements more efficiently

Thats pretty sick at DoN's, my roommate used to grind the **** out of those 2012-13 but he didnt have a 5% roi at $50.........

...but there are only 4mill left to mine! But yeah, in the long run I guess other crypto currencies will take over; BTC is kinda the alpha version.

thats correct, but they get exponentially (i believe) harder to mine as they are discovered and the blockchain only ever gets longer.

What will happen eventually is the cost of the electricity required to run the devices will exceed the FMV of a coin. This is already prohibitive unless you have a good rig.

Ignition. I've been playing dons since they introduced them on pokerstars back in 2010. Ive been on bovada/ignition since 2011 after black friday. Ive gotten better along the way. These days i think im one of the best in the games currently. But it took alot of work to get to that point.

honestly all current cryptos will be nullified by governments eventually, imo. I was in the scene early and sold a few coins at $250 in the early SWC days and have just been a spectator since. Its so laughable how poker pros are trying to be crypto 'pros' through all the madness. Although I do miss getting some smack in the mail...

I may, however, take a gamble on ethereum. theres more practical applications it could be put to use for, and the creators are known to the public, unlike bitcoin, which would be a huge liability from a government perspective.

smart move playing on ignition Mr Horus. Stars at $50 level is very very tough these days.
02-01-2018 , 10:27 PM
Stars doesnt have $50 double or nothing sngs though, thats my only specialty haha. Im pretty good at mtts but the variance in those isn't healthy for a married father of 4 lol.
