11pm in Denmark now. I assume you're out experiencing Copenhagen by night, if not, then get the **** out there, you won't be dissapointed. Just tell people you know The Sammy, and free beers + hot girls will float your way.

Here's the map of what we walked while we were in New York. Not really that exciting, but that's all I've got for now. During that time we walked past 956 pizza joints, 13,567 homeless people, 8,468 small dogs, 1,457,284,485 people, 8,578 police cars with sirens blaring and heard 44,654,843 horns.

Nice work OP!

Touring around the world, with girlfriend on the side, money at hand, and playing poker.
Sounds like a dream scenario! OP is having a really memorable time.

Makes all online poker players who are stuck in their rooms jealous.

An uplifting read.

More photos pls!

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I haven't added anything much lately. As I'm visiting a lot of places I've already been I don't take the camera out much anymore.

Great thread! Have been reading every word of the thread in one sitting . When I saw the thread originated out 2013 (when you already spend 13 months traveling) I didn't expect that you're still being on the road! Good for you! Thanks for the great updates/pics and so on!

Maybe you have time to answer some silly questions:
Why did you visit Eindhoven and did you like it? Seems like an odd one to me in comparison of all those fantastic locations you've visited (and considering other possible destinations in the Netherlands).

Have you considered visiting Russia? If not, why? St. Petersburg and Moscow for example seem great cities to me with lots of nice architecture and other cultural heritage.

Thanks again and greetings from the Amsterdam canals

In the Netherlands we chose some of the bigger/more popular places in the country. It was also near the border of Belgium, so geographically it worked as well. We also had free accommodation there, so that helped. It was pretty good, but it was probably our least favorite stop on the Netherlands trip.

Russia is on the list, but is one of the harder places to get into. Hard is probably the wrong word, but you need to do some work to get in. It's also a bit out of the way. We will probably do it when we venture further into Eastern Europe. That's at least a year away.
