Basically impossible to answer and it's the question I get asked the most. There are so many things that go into 'favorite'. i.e. I love Amsterdam for it's atmosphere, but hate the weather. The list I gave earlier in this thread was...

1) Barcelona
2) Paris
3) New York
4) San Francisco
5) Tulum, Mexico
6) Amsterdam
7) Interlaken, Switzerland
8) Santorini
9) Dubrovnik
10) Vancouver or Banff

It's been a while since then, but it's probably about the same. I'd probably drop Tulum a bit lower now and add Grand Bahamas.

I assume by live you mean 12 months plus.

The only place I could live would be USA (e.g. southern California or Florida), and the main reason for this is weather and it would have to be English speaking. I don't like the cold, so that rules out so much of the world for me. I love everything about so many places like Canada, Amsterdam and New York, but I couldn't live there because 6 months a year I would be miserable because it's too cold. There are other places that have really good weather (e.g. the Caribbean), but, while it's an amazing place, after a while I would get bored as other than the beach there isn't much to do there (this basically happened after 5 months in the Bahamas).

Las Vegas. Las Vegas for a week is amazing, but I could never imagine actually living there for a year.

Probably Cebu as a country. However there was a Walmart just north of Miami that we stayed the night in on our road trip that we didn't sleep much. I'm sure we saw about 3 drug deal go down.

Friendly - People in Japan that are actually in the tourist industry (hotels etc) are the nicest people you will ever meet. As a country it's definitely Bahamas ainec. People are just so nice.

Least friendly - none really stand out. A lot of countries we have visited have people that seem to be rude but it's probably just a language barrier thing.

Ahh, I forget you are still receiving the base minimum salary. Don't worry, it doubles every year. The bonus plan kinda sucks, tho. And medical consists solely of David Sklansky performing free gyno exams. Pretty sure Morph already had one of them.

The LA Experience

I was lucky enough to spend a month in LA and I thought I would fill you in on my experience there. As you know LA is very high on the weird and wonderful scale. Las Vegas might be the only place I've been that is higher. We stayed just outside of Hollywood in a little one bedroom place. Heaps of stuff within a short walk and we, surprisingly, found public transport quite easy to get around on.

I was really slack on taking photos as we had been there before several times and my phone is just a cheap piece of junk, not for photo taking.

I'm sure a lot of people have been to LA and it is definitely where the "beautiful people" are (that's what we call them). As long as you are in the right area of LA you will be made to feel quite inadequate (fortunately there are plenty of areas within the USA that make me feel very attractive). Every second person seems to drive a sports car here. In fact you look at some people and go "Oh, you only drive a BMW... Are you one of the poor people?".

Santa Monica/Venice Beach
It's usually a great walk along the beach here, but it was smoggy/foggy, so taking photos was pointless. The people watching here is amazing, and we always get a drink and watch people walk past.

Hollywood
Well we stayed here, so we spent a lot of time walking around. We went to a few of the late night shows (Jimmy Kimmel and some other guy who I forget). I don't find Jimmy funny at all, but it was fun. Betty White and Jamie Fox were the guests. Then they had Jamie Fox sing some songs after the show (he just released an album) with the guy that bashed Rihanna (how do women like this guy?) and TI (never heard of him before). The songs sounded like run of the mill rap. Seeing Jamie Fox with the crotch of his pants below his knees was so lol. I think he has forgotten he's 47 years old and can't do that **** anymore. And yes, Betty White is as hot in real life as on the TV. Seriously though, she's funny, but really old. She needed to be moved around slowly with help once the cameras went off.

The other night show had Courtney Cox. The gf is/was a huge fan of Friends and Cougar Town, so that was fun.

We then went to the premier of the new Avengers movie. It was pretty packed and we didn't have a great view. Got some terrible photos though.

The legend himself - Stan Lee - Was there early and raced down the red carpet

Jeremy Renner - The Arrow - Stopped and signed a heap of autographs, even took a picture with this kid.

Chloe Bennet - I think she is in the TV show Shield. She had the best dress of the evening...

MingNa Wen - She's on the Shield show too - Don't think she is in the movie. She definitely went all out on her dress.

Kelli Berglund - Someone I had never heard of, but the photo was good...

Elizabeth Olsen - She's in the movie - One of the new Avengers

Iron Man himself - seriously this was a blink and you would miss it moment. What he did was have 6 security guys around him and almost ran down the red carpet. The girls were definitely disappointed. He must have had some issues with people at these things in the past. There were only two people that did this. Him and Samuel L Jackson. Everyone else stopped for autographs.

Colbie Smulders - I use to be a big HIMYM fan, so this was pretty cool. Super skinny in real life.

Scarlett Johansson - semi famous actor you may know about

Runyon Canyon Park
Every second day we use to walk up Runyon Canyon Park. From where we stayed it was a 2 kilometer walk with 200 meter elevation. I was going to convert for the Americans, but it's about time you learned metric. You know, like the rest of the world. The good news is the metric system is really easy, that's why people use it. Sounds silly doesn't it.

Anyway, the walk was always semi crowded, but great for watching the "beautiful people". We played the game "What work has she had done?", "Is she semi famous?". We could have easily seen some famous people, but unless they are really famous I wouldn't have a clue. Apparently we saw Iggy Azalea. This meant a lot to my gf. She's a big fan.

NBA Game
Got to go to a game between Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers. I'm a GSW fan, so had a great time. Really expensive though. The night cost about $600.

San Diego
We spent a weekend down in San Diego. I've only spent about 96 hours there in my life, but I think I could live there. Great city. Not too big, not too small. Great feel about it. Good weather. We visited the zoo while we were there. After visiting Craggoo's mom we had a look around the rest of the zoo. It's huge. Here are some random photos.

He looks comfortable

Here's some random photos of our time there...

Really do love LA. Could live there if the American Government didn't keep kicking us out.

I've change my mind on this one. I actually really enjoyed my time there this time (not that I didn't before), and could actually imagine myself living there for an extended amount of time.

And I think I'll stick with this avatar for a while. Even if Jessica gets jealous.

The only thing certain after New York is Copenhagen. Then it will be 3 months in Europe, but not really sure where (thought Paris is almost certainly one stop).

No idea after that.

You should have hit Letterman. I'm no fan but seeing as it was his last show, the energy must have raised the roof. I'd have gone for the Foo Fighters alone but that's just me.

If you don't mind, what kind of business are you doing online? Don't have to be specific if you don't want to but I just want to get a general idea

Maybe has been asked before - how much luggage do you take with you? Do you also send some of it ahead via UPS or so?

Did look into, but as you would expect it was sold out ages ago.

A few things. Money generated is from advertising, affiliate stuff and social media work.

We actually are carrying around more than we use to. At the start we carried around 70 pounds of stuff between the two of us (in backpacker backpacks). Now we are up to about 120-130 pounds (which involves 2 checked in big suitcases and 2 little carry on suitcases). We don't send anything ahead, but we do get stuff sent from Australia every now and then (contact lenses, medication etc).

It would be interesting to see what you take around with you in a pic; maybe when you're re-packing/-organizing at some point... if it's not too personal of course.

It's not too exciting. Here's an approximate list

3 x computers
2 x tablet computers
1 x Blender
1 x bag of skin stuff/makeup/shampoos etc (this is quite heavy - 6-7 pounds)
1 x My clothing (1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of shorts, 5 shirts, 1 jumper, 5 pair of underwear, 5 pair of socks, 2 x shoes, 1 belt)
1 x Her Clothing (not going to list it, but it's twice what I have )
1 x vitamins (several bottles of vitamins and drugs (gf has a heart thing that required daily medication)
1 x bathroom scales (yes, a weird one)
4 x books
2 x MP3 players
2 x Handbags
1 x small backpack (empty)
1 x PS4 (yes PS4!)
Extra contact lenses
4 x Prescription Glasses (2 each - one sunglass, one normal) - Hardly ever worn then (basically for emergency)
1 x some random paperwork (taxes etc)
1 x some business card

That's off the top of my head. May have missed something.
