It's in western EU, but not sure how that changes anything.
It's not the only game I was introduced to, and I am way up already in these games. Not really too worried about my backer trying to scam me out of 10k. Which he also would have to share with others. It seems like too much effort for this type of payday.
Also, nobody mentioned any way the game could be rigged. Except for some type of RFID, I don't really see how. It's not like they were playing together either, or the dealers have the time/opportunity to try and manipulate the cards. I know there are some magicians out there, but still seems far fetched.
Regarding the money, there is none at the table. It only works on credit, payment is under 2 days.
Blocked in my country unfortunately. But I guess it's always possible.
I guess this thread went from complaining about an evening to devolving into unrelated spergery.
To address the latest polemic regarding credit, I doubt that any of you actually play in underground/home games where significant money is involved if you think this is that shocking. The only difference with a regular 10/10 or 10/20 game is that people start directly with money they did not bring. But in those games as well, people don't bring as much as they are willing to spend and there will always be people borrowing significant amounts from the house. It also presents other advantages.
To start with, it's much safer because there is no point to rob the game, and if police comes, there is no money to cease.
But more so, people are also always somewhat guaranteed by someone else. And if that someone does not pay when they don't, the host or my backer will, and I will probably never even know about it. Nobody playing there is a complete nobody that could not be traced back. It's a small country.
This leads to one more reason why I don't think it's rigged. The hosts make a ton of money. I know for a fact that they always have people owing them money, they simply can afford it. It's more profitable to keep the players happy and the games running.
Anyway, all this is irrelevant. I probably won't be playing in this game again for a while. Feels like I am not properly rolled for it anyway.

And I picked BBV to vent about bad evening. It went out of control. I am done with the thread, no need to move it.It's just hard not to reply tbh, I guess I have some responsibility in it as well.
This is often the case with broke players slaving away at NL50. The seething is real Glgl bro, I am sure things will work out for you. Who knows, if you have a good year, you could make like 20K! The dream is palpable. After 8 years, surely, it's bound to happen ^^
