+1 but only because it taints an otherwise enjoyable thread. It doesn't even have the flavor of the demise of other great threads getting bumped years later. It's just a sad flaccid flop.

Guys I’m not sure what the big debate is about. I started the thread, contributed a ton of personal content, been 4 and a half years, we’ve all had some good laughs, it’s time for me to move on. At this point not only do I want the thread locked, I want it removed. I have never went into any thread and been negative. I’ve always been supportive, and don’t understand why anyone who has been along for the ride would not respect my wishes. I didn’t do anything wrong to anyone. I’ve just been here to entertain at my expense. Seriously guys, be a bit more mature about this. Anyone who is upset that I don’t want to post and want my thread closed for personal reasons is wrong. But hey, misery loves company.

I would understand having your name edited out of the thread. Other than that it's not really up to you.
