If you go to the vegasboards (dot) com site and search for Project Degen by Warmdeck, you'll find a nice organized thread there. I signed up to that forum just to re-read the stories. He mentions this in an earlier post here somewhere.

This would go on until he limp folds his way out of the tournament. I will be drinking fireball shots to keep calm while ordering him Tangueray and tonics at $5 a drink with the remaining $20. I will cut him off at 3 so I have enough to get him a moon-pie(his favorite snack), Fritos, and a $1 scratch ticket at the corner store on our walk home after he busts.
After the 2 hour walk home I will then let him crash on my couch for a sleepover. But not before making him calls girls to try and find some company. With most likely no success we will spend the rest of the night playing each other heads-up for play chips on Stars. Me on my laptop and him on his mobile device. It will turn into side action and he will owe me $80 by the time we fall asleep.
The next morning I will find him a side job to cover his $80 loss to me and then figure out a way to get him back into action. ****ty trip report I know, but hey, it would be the best I could do with $56.
Full trip report will come with photos of course..

Id be willing to bet that we have crossed paths many times at Mohegan. From about 2009 and on there have been periods where I was driving up there everyday to play poker and slots and staying all night. Although I was never a fan of being wasted and playing poker, I might have been stoned playing for about 2 years straight and possibly having fun with other powdery substances. Your episodes of drinking and pissing the night away have reminded me of my own personal times and god I do not miss that lol..
Half the time I went up there to grind a barely had any money on me too.
I just picked up on a lot of similar experiences and connections through your stories. That includes your group of guys and girls in relation to my guys and girls. Even more so when were both going to the same casinos.

I have tried to call him and text him with no answer, which is weird as he tended to answer that phone pretty regularly. I even checked for his obituary in his hometown but he appears to still be alive and not arrested either. All I can think of is I know this thread and telling it was hard on his personal relationships, he may be toning it down a bit.....bit I hope not!
